   • Prostatitis

3. Skin and Soft Tissue Infections:

   • Cellulitis
   • Abscesses
   • Infected wounds

4. Sexually Transmitted Infections:

   • Gonorrhea
   • Chlamydia (though other treatments are often preferred)

5. Gastrointestinal Infections:

   • Bacterial gastroenteritis
   • Infectious diarrhea caused by bacteria like Shigella, Salmonella, or Escherichia coli

6. Ophthalmic Infections (when used as eye drops):

   • Bacterial conjunctivitis
   • Corneal ulcers

7. Bone and Joint Infections:

   • Osteomyelitis
   • Septic arthritis

8. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease:

   • Ofloxacin can be used in combination with other antibiotics for treating pelvic inflammatory disease.
